Inkle’s Oct. 28 announcement of its acquisition of Finally’s bookkeeping business names Miami and Boca Raton among six locations where team members are joining the buyer. The company describes an all-cash asset purchase and has not disclosed financial terms.
The company said about 100 Finally team members across the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Miami, Boca Raton and New York are joining Inkle. It did not break out how many of those employees are in South Florida, so the total should not be read as a local headcount.
Backoffice.co’s wind-down notice says the bookkeeping business has been acquired by Inkle and customers’ contracts are now held by Inkle. It says customer service continues as before with the same team.
Backoffice.co says it entered an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors on Sept. 8, 2026, and an estate handles its remaining affairs. In a Sept. 14 customer update, Inkle CEO Anand Krishna said Inkle executed the purchase on Sept. 8 and owned the bookkeeping customer base, team, intellectual property and data starting Sept. 9. The October announcement therefore follows the transfer described in that earlier update.
Krishna’s September update told customers their pricing and plans would stay the same and that billing would move from Backoffice.co, Inc. to Inkle, Inc. The companies have not disclosed a South Florida customer count or a local staffing breakdown.
