Corrections Policy

Our Commitment

22Miami is committed to accuracy. When we publish something that is wrong, we correct it promptly, transparently, and without defensiveness. A correction is not an embarrassment — leaving an error uncorrected is.

How to Request a Correction

If you believe something we published is inaccurate, tell us. Email hello@22united.com with the subject line Correction, and include:

• A link to the story and the specific passage in question;
• What is inaccurate and what the correct information is;
• Any source or documentation that supports the correction.

You can also flag a story using the Report option in the menu on any article card.

How We Review

We review every request. We check the claim against our sources and, where needed, re-report it. If the request is valid, we correct the story as quickly as possible. If it is not, we will explain why. We do not remove accurate journalism because a subject is unhappy with it.

How We Label Changes

• Correction — a factual error has been fixed. We note what was wrong and what it now says.
• Update — new information has been added, or a developing story has moved on, without an earlier error.
• Clarification — wording that was accurate but could be misread has been made clearer.

Significant corrections are disclosed on the story itself. We do not quietly rewrite the record.
