Sean Combs has sold his waterfront estate on Star Island for $55 million, marking the highest-value residential transaction in South Florida for the week ending July 14, 2026.
The 8,000-square-foot property at 1 Star Island Drive features six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms. JFStar LLC, an entity led by John A. Franklin of Virginia Beach, acquired the home. Combs originally purchased the estate in 2021 for $35 million, realizing a $20 million gain on the sale.
Star Island remains one of Miami Beach's most exclusive addresses, with properties regularly commanding eight-figure prices. The private enclave has long attracted high-net-worth individuals seeking waterfront privacy and security within minutes of downtown Miami.
In Jupiter, music producer Dirk Ulrich and his wife Marina sold their home at 158 Spyglass Lane for $7.9 million. Urban 158 LLC purchased the 8,100-square-foot residence, which includes five bedrooms and more than five and a half bathrooms. The Ulrichs acquired the property in 2025 for $8.3 million and have developed a track record of flipping multiple homes in the Jupiter area. Rob Thompson with Waterfront Properties & Club Communities represented the listing.
Boca Raton saw an $8.5 million transaction at 159 West Coconut Palm Road, where Paul and Catherine Stiles purchased a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home measuring approximately 4,400 square feet. The 159 West Coconut Palm Road Land Trust served as the seller. The Stiles family recently divested another Boca Raton property before completing this acquisition.
A luxury condominium in Sunny Isles Beach changed hands for $7 million at 17749 Collins Avenue. David J. Goldschmidt of Scarsdale, New York, purchased the three-bedroom unit through a managed entity. The seller was an LLC connected to Moussa El Mann, an executive with a Mexican real estate investment trust. The 4,600-square-foot residence traded at $1,500 per square foot, representing a nearly $800,000 increase from its previous sale approximately one year earlier at $6.2 million.
The series of transactions reflects continued demand for high-end residential properties across South Florida's coastal communities. From Miami Beach's exclusive islands to Palm Beach County's golf communities and Broward County's oceanfront towers, luxury real estate continues to attract domestic and international buyers seeking primary residences, vacation homes, and investment opportunities in the region's favorable tax and lifestyle environment.
